The Power of Pretend

Welcome to The Power of Pretend—a transformative children’s theater program where imagination takes the lead, and every child finds their voice on stage.

​

Designed especially for students in grades 3–5, this 20-week residency blends the fundamentals of theater with literacy, social-emotional learning, and self-expression. Through acting, movement, character development, and ensemble-building, students journey from pretend play to powerful performance.

​

Each session is a joyful mix of rehearsal, reflection, and discovery—guiding students to build confidence, empathy, communication skills, and a deep appreciation for storytelling and the arts.

And it all leads to a Broadway-style final production—a major school event where students shine in front of families, teachers, and the entire school community.
